Spicy Mango Mezcal Margarita - A sweet, spicy, smoky cocktail that's great for those warmer gatherings ahead. It's sweet from the mangos, spicy from the jalapenos and cayenne, and smoky from the mezcal. Make this at your next gathering or dinner party!
Infuse the Mezcal: Add the jalapeños to the mezcal and let them infuse it while you prepare your other ingredients.
Prepare the rim: add the salt, tajin, and cayenne to a plate. Using a lime wedge, rub the rim of your glass, then invert the glass into the salt mix to coat the rim evenly. Set aside.
Blend: add the mango, lime juice, and the triple sec to a container. Using an immersion blender (or blender), blend until smooth then transfer to a cocktail shaker (or pitcher if you making a big batch).
Stir: Add the jalapeño-infused mezcal and ice into the same shaker (or pitcher) and stir.
Serve: Use a cocktail strainer to pour the drink into prepared glasses. For extra spice, add a slice of jalapeño for garnish.
