Equipment

  • 1 fine mesh sieve or strainer
  • 1 freeze safe container
  • 1 blender or immersion blender

Ingredients

  • 1 lb seedless grapes
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 small knobs fresh ginger
  • ¼ cup fresh mint
  • 2 limes

Instructions

  • In a blender or using an immersion blender, add the grapes, maple syrup, ginger, mint, and lime juice.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine sieve and into a shallow container.
  • Cover the container with the lid or foil and freeze for about 2-3 hours. then using a a fork, scrape the frozen grape mixture and freeze again for another hour for the ice crystals to form.
  • Scrape the granita gain until you get your desired texture. Serve in a small chilled bowl or serving glasses and top with mint and lime zest.
