Equipment

  • 1 sauce pan

Ingredients

  • 2 heads endives leaves pulled
  • ¼ cup blue cheese crumbled
  • 1 orange segmented and sliced
  • ¼ cup pecans finely chopped
  • ¾ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Make the balsamic glaze by adding the balsamic vinaigrette and maple syrup in a saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer for 20 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and coats the back of your spatula. Transfer to a small bowl and let it cool.
  • Assemble the endive bites by placing the endive leaves on a serving platter, add the crumbles of blue cheese, the orange slices, the pecans, the chives, and drizzle the balsamic glaze. Enjoy!
