Ingredients
- Butter: Use your favorite unsalted butter. Personally, I like to opt for grass-fed unsalted butter because of its health benefits.
- Herbs: I use Rosemary and sage here that remind you of fall and thanksgiving meals.
- Maple syrup: You can use the amber or dark kind.
- Salt: I use flaky finishing salt here because those crystals give you a fun texture. But any other salt will do. Just make sure to taste after you season!

How To Make This Compound Butter

1) Prepare all your ingredients, chop the herbs finely, grate your lemon zest and garlic, mince your shallot.

2) Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until combined.

3) Place in the middle of a 9x12 sized parchment paper.

4) Then twist the two edges until it looks like a candy wrapper.
Storage
You can store this in your refrigerator for one week, however you can keep it in your freezer for several months.
